In Book Club, students get to choose from an array of books to read, and they have meaningful discussions. It’s a relaxing time to immerse students in the world of books.

“Beaver didn’t have a book club, which was surprising. It’s like a more relaxed English class setting where you get a choice in what you want to read.” – Rebecca Goodman ’23

Currently, they are reading the book Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins. They are making their way through the book, and discussing different topics within it during their weekly meetings.

“There’s no writing involved. You come into the club and we discuss what we want to discuss, or maybe we’ll read together. It’s a nice break in the day. ” – Caroline Keller ’23
