The Beaver wrestling team went up today against a strong Concord team which filled nearly every weight class. We were wrestling through some injuries but still came out strong. Tyler Kavoogian began our match with a strong pin, and then Tyler Myrick made the room erupt in his match when he threw his opponent over his own back through the air. Valerian Planche had a strong victroy by pin over a previous EIL champion. Mike Lane and Jon (Toast) Phillips both had strong pins in their matches as well. Mike Lane is now 7-5 in his sophomore year and we only expect him to get better. Our next match is this Wednesday against BB&N and Thayer.
