I grew up in Norwood, MA and decided to experience a different part of the country for college. I graduated from Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, VA, where I majored in Athletic Training and a minored in history. Athletic training is such an appealing field to me because I played sports throughout my life and loved the sports atmosphere and culture. I knew I wanted to work in the healthcare field with motivated patients and athletic training is a great combination of both. Working with athletes is such a rewarding experience. I get to work with athletes after an injury when they are hurting and through treatment, rehab, and hard work, bring them back to their best and get them back on the field or court.
After graduation in 2015, I moved back up to Massachusetts and got a job at Marathon Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine and was placed at Beaver Country Day School. I am so lucky that I have the opportunity to work at a prestigious school with great families and such fun and driven athletes.
