Beaver offers students the chance to participate in many activities outside the classroom.
The arts and athletics play an integral role in students’ lives, enabling them to improve their skills and discover new talents. Students are also involved in a wide range of other extracurricular activities and clubs.
Popular activities include: robotics, social action leaders, student council, Model U.N., mock trial club, The Heliconian literary magazine, and The Beaver Reader (online student newspaper).
Several of our teachers serve as coaches, and all attend students’ games, plays, and concerts, extending the connections they make with students beyond the walls of their classrooms.

The Beaver Community
At Beaver, we help students to understand and be proud of who they are as individuals.
Our students and faculty are a diverse community with varying backgrounds, perspectives, and personalities. Beaver graduates emerge as thoughtful, global citizens with the academic and interpersonal tools to be successful in college – and the desire to continue asking important questions and exploring their worlds in greater depth.
