The Beaver basketball team opened their season with an impressive 73 – 39 victory over league opponent Bancroft.  Freshman Jordan Scurry led the team with 21 points.  Junior Maurice Taylor chipped in with 15 points and Sophomore Jeff Spellman hit four 3 pointers to score 12 points.  Beaver will host league opponent Berwick Academy on Wednesday at 5:30.
