Beaver’s annual Senior Studio Art Show will be on display in the Nancy Lincoln Gallery beginning next week.
For the past seven weeks, thirteen seniors have been working to produce pieces for the show. Each student was provided with his or her own work space in the McElwain Art Studio and had the freedom to create art in whatever style and medium they wanted, thus mimicking the experience of a professional artist.
The student-artists will be recognized at an artists’ reception in the gallery on Wednesday, May 9 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. The show will run until June 1.
Check out the slideshow below for a behind-the-scene look into the students’ work.
