On Wednesday, the Beaver boys’ varsity lacrosse team defended their home “turf” against Class A Worcester Academy with a dominant 13-7 victory. The Beaver squad rattled off 6 straight goals to open the first quarter and never looked back. Senior captain Charlie Segar and freshman Nat Brown led the team in the early minutes with 2 goals apiece, assisting on several others. Senior captain David Herman played a strong game in the cage with multiple great saves and leading the transition game. Thomas Pierce, a newly minted midfielder and face off man, played his best game of the year and helped secure the victory for the home team.
On Saturday, the team looks to take down a New England powerhouse in the Dexter School.
