Despite above-average temperatures and a sun that threatened to melt students’ ice sculptures, Beaver’s annual Winter Carnival provided students with a fun afternoon of music, s’mores, and hot chocolate.
Each grade was tasked with designing an ice sculpture based on the theme “Beaver in Boston.” After the basic design was cut out by a chain-saw-wielding professional artist, students grabbed a chisel and got work crating the details of the piece.
Enjoy some photos from the ice sculpting part of the carnival. More photos of the festivities are coming soon.
