For the second year in a row, Beaver’s boys’ cross country team posted an undefeated season and took first place in the Eastern Independent League (EIL) and NEPSTA Division IV Championship Meets to earn another banner for Gym A.

Eight teams competed at the EIL Championship race held at Franklin Park on Friday, November 4. Four of the top ten finishers were Beaver runners. Joe Connelly ’13 took second overall, George Wright ’14 and Tim King ’12 placed fourth and fifth respectively, and Murray Skolnick ’14 rounded out Beaver’s top finishers with a ninth place finish overall.

The boys followed up their EIL win with a first place finish at the NEPSTA Division IV Championship race on Saturday, November 12. Once again, four of the top ten finishers were from Beaver.

The team will be presented with their championship banner at the Fall Sports Recognition Ceremony on Monday, November 14.
