Welcome to Beaver: New Faculty & Staff
We’re so DAM excited you’re here. And we’ve got your back—not just now, but all year long.
After our extensive orientation, you’ll be comfortable with who we are, what we do, why we do it, and how you’re a part of it all! This includes the big picture, like our mindset and the New Basics, and the nitty-gritty, like taking attendance and understanding the All-School calendar.
Here’s how your four-part orientation rolls out:
PART 1: June
Get to know our culture and our Teaching for Learning approach.
PART 2: Summer
Stay connected. Reach out, ask questions, and check in with your Department Heads.
PART 3: Late August
Back on campus. Everything you need to launch the school year with confidence.
PART 4: All Year
We’ll keep meeting, checking in, and supporting you as you crush your first year at Beaver.
This page (and the whole website!) is your go-to resource. And remember: you can always reach out to Kader Adjout, Director of Teaching, Learning, and Innovation, with any questions.
