Here is a short wrap-up from this past week—April 24 through April 28 —in the Upper School.
The Art of Storytelling students welcomed kids into their class to read children’s books on Monday. Each child brought their favorite book to help inspire students as they write children’s books of their own in the upcoming week. Once finished, these books will be read to children at Pine Manor college.
There were no US classes on Tuesday due to spring parent teacher conferences.
On Wednesday, artist Abby Ouellette visited a digital art class and ran a workshop for US afternoon art students. Ouellette shared details about her creative process, art school, and how she discovered her perspective as an artist. In her workshop, Ouellette guided students through a multimedia collage workshop.

The Senior Art Show opened on Thursday at the Senior Art Show reception. Families and students came to the Nancy Lincoln Gallery to tour the phenomenal work seniors have been creating on all year and to read more about the inspiration behind each piece. The gallery will remain open in the upcoming weeks.
On Friday, Upper School music ensembles performed for both MS and US students. The performances were a chance for students to showcase some of the songs they have been working on all year in addition to more recent pieces.
A 9th and 10th grade dance took place on campus Friday night. The dance was themed “A Night to Remember”.
