We are so excited to share that we’ve submitted two proposals to the 2023 SXSW EDU Conference in Austin, Texas—and we need your help to get there!
Our submissions are:
- Deeper Learning + Student-Led Inquiry with Kader Adjout, Director of Teaching, Learning, & Innovation
- Student Agency + Social Advocacy in the Classroom with Yolanda Wilcox González, Global History & Social Sciences Department Head + History Teacher
Get these two Beaver faculty to Texas this spring by giving their proposals a vote up!
HOW TO VOTE
Voting on the SXSWedu website isn’t the easiest process, so we created a four-step guide to ease any frustration. Follow these steps and you’ll be in, voting, and on with your day in a few minutes time. (We promise!)
Beaver’s quick and painless guide to SXSWedu voting:
- Keep this blog post open at all times. Note: This step is crucial to your success.
- Click on this link to get to Mr. Adjout’s page OR click on this link to get to Ms. González’s page. It doesn’t matter which one you do first!
- Still with us? Good! The next step is to sign in or sign up. Troubleshooting: How do I know if I sign in or sign up? If you voted for us in the past, then your email information should be saved and you can sign in. If not, sign up.
- All signed in? Fantastic. Come back to this blog post and click on this link to get to Mr. Adjout’s page OR click on this link to get to Ms. González’s page. This will re-open the same page, but this time you’ll be signed in. Now you just need to cast your vote by clicking on the up arrow (we hope) button in the upper right corner. Then come back and click the other link so you can vote for both!
And there you go! You voted!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
