I’m coming from … Nobles where I worked as a consultant and then school counselor for 16 years. Prior to that, our family lived at Dana Hall School as “dorm parents” for 5 years. I also have had a large and now smaller private practice working with adolescents, adults, and families

What excites you most about teaching/working at Beaver? I am excited about teaching at Beaver for all the reasons summarized in the Beaver priorities. I love the qualities and values (such as empathy, collaboration, creative problem solving, etc.) that Beaver prioritizes in its community. I also love Beaver’s commitment to DEIJ work. I love the amazing community of educators and staff that I have already met, and I am looking forward to meeting, working, and collaborating with the other amazingly talented staff.

Kristina Ohl – Middle School Science

What excites you most about teaching/working at Beaver? I’m most excited about teaching at a private school that shares the teaching philosophy I have about education. I believe strongly in the value of project-based learning and can’t wait to dive deeper into this approach at Beaver.

What excites you most about teaching/working at Beaver? I graduated from Beaver in 2016, so it has been fun to work with my former teachers and see how the school has changed and grown since I was a student. I’m excited to get to know and work with the students!
