Upper School Weekly Wrap-Up: 4.11.22

Posted on April 14, 2022

Here is a short wrap-up from this past week—April 11 through April 15 —in the Upper School.

In US Advisory on Monday, students finished up Course Registration for next year.

There were no US classes on Tuesday due to Spring Parent Teacher Conferences. Our next round of conferences is Wednesday, April 20 (no Upper School classes on that day).

Tuesday evening was the Private Music Lessons Recital. In addition to classes and afternoon activities, Beaver also offers on-campus private music lessons. Students involved in these voice and instrumental lessons perform their solo repertoire at our annual recital.

During US Meeting on Wednesday, Ben Hellerstein, the State Director from Environment Massachusetts, spoke to students about climate change and what we as individuals and a school can do. The BEAT club invited Hellerstein to speak with students via Zoom.

On Thursday in US Meeting students went over instructions on modifications we are making to our evacuation/fire drill plans. They also were informed of SpringFest 2022, which is happening at the end of the month.

School is closed Friday in Observance of Good Friday and Monday for Patriots’ Day. Have a wonderful weekend and see you on Tuesday!
