Here is a short wrap-up from this past week—March 7 through March 11 —in the Upper School.
Monday was the first day of Term III.
On Monday morning, the 9th Grade Civic Engagement Design Challenge began. The intention of this challenge is to enrich the themes of identity, diversity, action, and justice already embedded in the curriculum, serve as a springboard for meaningful work throughout the term, and possibly inspire interdisciplinary projects.
At US Meeting on Tuesday, it was the annual Upper School Talent Show! From dancing to singing, to playing an instrument, students showed off their skills. Congratulations to Will Cohen ’22 and Dillon Gousby ’22 who were awarded “Best Performance” by the Upper School!
Spring Clubs began Wednesday, and students met to plan out their work for the upcoming term. Click here to view all the clubs we offer.
Thursday was the Foundations of Choreography Winter Showcase, which featured the Upper School Afternoon Dance Team and the Choreography Foundations class.
And speaking of dance, Thursday was also Decision Day, which means our newly-accepted students received the You Got In video! You can check it out here and see the behind scenes of the choreography here.
Good luck to the students partaking in the MA DECA State Competition from March 10-12.
