Boys & Girls Basketball Win EIL; NEPSAC Up Next

For the first time since 1991, both boys and girls basketball teams have won the Eastern Independent League (EIL) regular season championship in the same year. They also capped off the EIL season with tournament championships. Next up is the New England Prep School Athletic Conference (NEPSAC) tournaments.

Beaver’s boys basketball team finished the season undefeated in league play and 23-2 overall to capture their third straight EIL championship. They go into NEPSACs as the Class B number one seed. The first round game will be held in Beaver’s Gym A at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 1 against #4 Governors.

Girls basketball is ranked #4 in Class C and will take on #5 Brewster in Gym A on Friday, March 2 at 4:00 p.m. The girls finished the season with a 19-2 overall record.
