Will Harrington ’12 (L) and Cam Mayer ’15 have qualified for the U.S. Fencing Association National Championships in July in Reno, Nevada.
Both won 3rd-place medals in their respective weapons (saber for Harrington and foil for Mayer) in the New England qualifiers on April 3 at the Boston Fencing Club. Former Beaver assistant coach James Gilchrist also qualified in saber.
“We are proud of both Will and Cam qualifying for the U.S. Fencing Associations National Championship,” said Sherry Levin, Director of Athletics. “We wish them the best of luck as they continue to excel in their sport.”
