BVR Model UN attends Northwestern University Model UN Conference

Eight Beaver students were among the 500 that attended Northwestern University’s 22th Model UN Conference over the weekend. Several awards were given to Beaver delegates, including:

  • Leila Sakoulis ’27: Best Position Paper
  • Kate LaGatta’25: Best Position Paper
  • Sammy Wasserman ’26: Honorable mention

One of the highlights of the session came when Beaver alum Patrick Berg ’23–who happened to be chairing a committee at NUMUN–connected with students ahead of the conference. As a previous member and leader of BVR MUN, Patrick helped welcome the group to Northwestern and gave feedback on their work.

The eight delegates that attended include: Gibran Ashai ’26, Katia Bunner ’28, Quinn Burke ’28, Ezra Devonshire ’27, Kate LaGatta ’25, Leila Sakoulis ’27, Sammy Wasserman ’26, and Sadie Wylie ’26.
