Student Life

Student life at Beaver is vibrant, inclusive, full of possibility, and intertwined with learning. It isn’t separate from the classroom; it’s part of it.

Whether entering Grade 6 or preparing to graduate, every student at Beaver has a voice, every identity is honored, and every passion is taken seriously. This is a community built on connection, creativity, and trust. When students feel known, trusted, and respected, they don’t just participate; they take the lead.

Students lead clubs and athletic teams. They launch initiatives and drive change. They dive deep into what they love and create things no one has before, supported by teachers, advisors, and coaches who know them well and believe in their potential.

The Beaver Student Community

Some of our best moments happen when the whole school shows up together. Not by grade level, not by division—just one school, cheering for the same thing.

All-school events include:

The Beaver Games

A yearlong competition in which every student in grades 6-12 is assigned a team—gray or navy—that stays with them throughout their time at Beaver, competing together at community events like HarvestFest, Dam Jam, and Springfest.

All School Assemblies

We bookend the school year with All-School Assemblies—an Opening Assembly, where we celebrate the newness of our youngest students, and our Senior Send-Off, where we say goodbye to our graduating class.

Community Campaigns

When something at Beaver needs a name or a face—like naming the Beaver mascot (hello, Chestnut!) or designing the Beaver Games logo—the whole school gets a say, with students across all grades submitting ideas and voting on favorites.
