Here are some highlights from this past week—October 15 through October 18—in the Upper School.
School was closed on Monday in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day.
Tuesday was a college work day for seniors. With no classes on their schedules, the day was a chance to get ahead on the college admission process. Meanwhile, juniors that opted into taking the PSAT spent the day hard at work on the exam.

It was a busy afternoon for BVR Athletics on Wednesday, with 10 games taking place on campus and away. For score updates and a look at next week’s schedule, check out the BVR Athletics website and BVR Athletics Instagram!
Upper School students helped welcome prospective students and families to campus on Thursday during an Admission Information event. During an Upper School Q&A, student panelists answered questions about life at Beaver, classes, transportation, and campus culture. Meanwhile, Admission Ambassadors helped facilitate the event by showing families around campus.
A Mini Studio focused on the upcoming election was held on Friday. The Studio–which was open for all US students to attend–centered around how we can engage in civil dialogue, how one can identify their core values, and what voting means. The conversation will continue during follow-up sessions on Tuesday, Oct 22 and Tuesday, Oct 29.
