Hello, Middle School Students and Families! We had our last MS Meeting today in Bradley Hall to hear the Afternoon Activities Instrumental Ensemble perform!
Andrew Isacson ’28 and Tariq Kasrawi ’28 introduced the band and made a few quick announcements.
James Hester ’28, Caden Salzano ’28, and Jack Earley ’29 performed five songs:

- Stardust by Hoagy Carmichael
- Groove Merchant by Jerome Richardson
- Blue Train by John Coltrane
- Just The Two Of Us by Grover Washington
We are excited to announce that Kaz Jurkiewicz ’28 and Keola Appleton ’28 made the middle school all-star ultimate frisbee team! In addition, our Middle School Ultimate Frisbee team competed in the middle school tournament and came in third. Congratulations to Ultimate Frisbee!
Students were reminded to bring in all school uniforms and give them to Coach Kuntz.
Rishaan Chowdhury ’29 announced this month’s “Guess the Candy in the Jar” winners: Maya Feinberg ’29 and Thomas Laukien ’30.

The last RISE was today; they went on a Nature Walk.
Reminders about this week’s schedule
- Hiatt Summer Fellows have a required Zoom meeting on Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Email Ms. Garayúa for more details.
- Tomorrow’s dismissal is at 2:25 p.m.
- 8th graders have rehearsal for Promotion tomorrow during last period.
- Student-led conferences are Thursday. They are in person, on campus. These conferences are the only thing happening on campus Thursday. The only other event on Thursday is the Hiatt Summer Fellowship Zoom at 12:30 p.m.
- Friday is 8th Grade Promotion! It’s a dress-up day. Everyone must be on campus by 9:30 p.m. The T bus will pick up at the station at 9:00 and 9:15 a.m. After Promotion, there is a reception with food and students will all get a yearbook. Dismissal is at noon.
