Beaver’s Director of Technology, Shandor Simon, was honored with the 2024 ATLIS Pillar Award for his outstanding work as a leader in the independent school technology space. Established in 2018, the ATLIS Pillar Award program recognizes often unsung heroes who empower schools to thrive through technology leadership.

Simon has spent the past 30 years working at the intersection of technology and education, helping students and faculty understand and navigate the increasingly digitized world around them. Joining Beaver in 2021, Simon has utilized his time as Director of Technology to build a new technology team and launch a computational thinking initiative.
