The BVR STEM club, led by Christine Alcindor ‘21 and Ella Val ‘21, had the opportunity to speak with Carl E. Fields. Fields is an Astronomy and Astrophysics Ph.D. candidate at Michigan State University who is scheduled to finish his dissertation this year. His research interests include compact astronomical objects, astrophysical sources of gravitational waves, and core-collapse supernovae.
