Upper School Boys Varsity Tennis

Led by senior captains Ford Chope and Sam Waldman, Boys’ Varsity Tennis went undefeated in league play, captured the league title, and won the New England Class C Championship. Ford Chope, Spencer Shade, Alex Shigueta, Brett Siegal and Sam Waldman were voted “All League” by the EIL coaches, while Jason Waldman shared the Coaches’ Award with his brother. “EIL Coach of the Year” Josh Rilla adds, “The five seniors on the team deserve a lot of credit for the cohesive, supportive and professional culture they molded over their years on the team, especially the often injured Drew Siegal and Charlie Coes. Despite their setbacks, they continued to serve as positive and dedicated role models, leaving the program in great shape for future success.”
