Upper School Winter Play "Framed: A Story of Stolen Art"

Framed: A Story of Stolen ArtDevised by the ensemble. The Isabella Stewart Gardner Art Heist has been a constant source of fascination and intrigue since it occurred in March of 1990. The case remains unsolved and is still the largest property theft in recorded history. The case raises deep questions about the art world such as – Who does art belong to?  What is the real price of art? These questions and more will be explored in the fascinating narrative tale of Framed!: A Story of Stolen Art.

Advanced Theater Performance "Blight" by John Bavoso

Blightby John BavosoSilvia and Cat Henson have just moved from a tiny apartment in Washington, DC, into their sprawling dream home in the small, affluent town of Greenville, Delaware. Their new house, however, was recently the home of a teenage boy who committed a horrific crime. Is this the right time and place for Silvia and Cat to bring a new baby into the world, or will the house create an irreparable rift between them and their new community?  John Bavoso expertly weaves together two timelines, sometimes simultaneously onstage, to explore the different ways people are haunted by the past, present, and potential future.

Snow Date for the Middle School Winter Musical "Shrek The Musical"

Middle School MusicalShrek The MusicalMusic by Jeanine TesoriBook and Lyrics by David Lindsay-AbaireNominated for 8 Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Book, and Best Original Score, Shrek The Musical is an irreverent fairy tale adventure.”Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek….”  And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude, and over a dozen other fairy-tale misfits, and you’ve got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there’s one on hand… and his name is Shrek.

The Beaver Student Experience

Meet Rishaan Chowdhury '29

My favorite teacher was Mr. Greenberg because he made his class really fun. He knew how to balance the rich curriculum with fun and enjoyment and created one of the best classes I have ever taken!

Meet Allie Chisholm ’27

I was new to Beaver in 9th grade so the first day was a little scary. But the community at Beaver was truly so welcoming, and in each place I went, a person was willing and ready to help me.

Meet Emma Shub ’24

Being a Beaver student means that you are learning in an intimate environment; it means that you are learning in an engaged and driven community. Beaver is a launchpad for phenomenal work, and Beaver students are interesting.

Learning happens everywhere on our 300,000 square foot campus

Beaver taught me how to think differently and engage with all kinds of people. Students are seen as so much more than just numbers. It is evident that teachers genuinely care about students and are incredibly well-versed in their subject. Beaver offers incredible amounts of opportunities, and each and every student takes a unique path, with tons of support along the way.
