Hello, Middle School Students and Families! We had our last MS Meeting today in Bradley Hall to hear the Afternoon Activities Instrumental Ensemble perform!

Riley Anderson ’27 and Grace Batycky ’27 introduced the band and made a few quick announcements.

Ezra Devonshire ’27, Aubrey Emmons ’27, Alex Borden ’27, Rushi Murrow ’27, Bee Ashburn ’27, and James Hester ’28 performed five songs:

  • Miserlou – Traditional Middle-Eastern as played by Dick Dale
  • Do I Wanna Know – Artic Monkeys
  • Lovin’ is Easy – Rex Orange County
  • Easy Lovers – Piero Piccioni
  • Dream On – Aerosmith

The D-level Summer Cleaning is this week. All of the shelves and cabinets on the D-level will be cleared in preparation for BVR Summer Camp. Students can come during lunch/recess, Tuesday R-Time, or before/after Thursday advisory meetings to claim their work and ask to take it home or to take apart their projects to recycle parts. Any work that is unclaimed after Friday, June 9 will be recycled.

There is still time to sign up to march in the Boston Pride Parade this Saturday, June 10. You can bring friends and family, too. For planning purposes, please sign up to guarantee your spot.

Our participation in the Boston Pride Parade communicates Beaver’s commitment to inclusivity. Show your support for Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual/Transgender/Queer+ students, staff, families, and their allies by marching and/or cheering us on!

If you have any questions, email the Hiatt Center.

The last RISE was today; students picked their own craft.
