Let’s talk about Middle School. You just finished your 6th-grade year! What was it like?

6th grade was a very fun year where I was able to find friends and learn about the school and meet new teachers that I will be working with. 6th grade was a great year to make projects that require using your hands and thinking about them deeply.

What’s a project or an assignment you worked on that you really liked and why?

A project that I really liked was the Word of the Day with Mr. Greenberg. Me and my class really enjoyed this project as we were given a word or a few and made a short video about it. This helped us learn about the word because we were basically acting the word(s) out which helps us remember it for future reference.

Tell me about a teacher you really enjoyed and why?

I really enjoyed Mr. Greenberg because he was very positive and he was great to work with as he had many great ideas. He was very helpful and very kind to the class.

What are you excited about in this upcoming year?

I am excited to see my old friends but also meet new ones that are coming into Beaver. Meeting new teachers is also something I am excited about because so far I have enjoyed all of my teachers so far.

Let’s talk about some of your favorite things at Beaver…

Favorite class: Humanities.

Favorite space on campus: R&D center.

Favorite afternoon activity: Basketball.

Favorite MS event: Kimball Farms.

Favorite snack: Popcorn.

Favorite lunch: Buffalo Wings.

Favorite recess activity: Basketball in Winter. Football in the other seasons.
