Girls Varsity Volleyball had a great week winning 3 key matches. They scrimmaged Pingree on Wednesday and beat them in straight sets 3-0. The team used that great win against Pingree to fuel them in an intense league matchup on Friday against Dana Hall winning 3-1. Coach Alessi says, “everyone played a key role in helping them to take down the Dragons. However, the match against Groton on Saturday would be their toughest test but they prevailed in a fifth set tie break”. Shout outs for this week go to, senior captain Lucy Hirshland who had a solid and consistent game week, Junior Emily Emmett, with solid serves and incredible defense. Finally, Captain Abby Cebula who brings lots of confidence and positivity to the team. This week volleyball is away against Portsmouth Abbey on Wednesday and will face Berwick Academy away on Saturday.

Varsity Golf continued Beaver’s winning week with dominant performances from Rebecca Skoler ’20 and Ben Madden ’24. Golf will look to continue their streak this week with matches against Bancroft on Monday and Portsmouth Abbey on Wednesday.
