61st Annual Harvard Model United Nations Conference

Posted on February 13, 2014

Twelve delegates from the Beaver Model United Nations team performed beautifully at the 61st Annual Harvard Model United Nations conference, held at the Sheraton Boston, between January 30-February 2, 2014. This was a highly competitive conference that involved over 3,000 students from 200 high schools around the world. Our delegates represented the Kingdom of Tonga, and spent four days debating topics ranging from international intervention in democratic uprisings, to the rights of women in the Arab world. We are very proud of Kate Lambroza ’14, who won an Honorable Mention in the Legal Committee, as she was one of only 140 delegates to be presented with such an honor.
