Loulseged, Habermann, Darling earn Athletic Accolades

Posted on November 1, 2013

This week, three athletes were honored with Athletic Accolades. Mariamawit Loulseged ’14, Ryan Habermann ’17, and Lia Darling ’19 received the award for their hard work and performance on the court and field.
Mariamawit Loulseged ’14 – Varsity Volleyball
Mara Loulseged has had very strong performances during our games. Mara has really risen to the occasion the past weeks making strong showings both defensively and offensively. As a captain she is using her voice as well as her skills to lead her team.

Ryan Habermann ’17 – Boys’ JV Soccer

Ryan has truly been a pivotal member of our team’s success this season, particularly on the offensive side of the ball. A goal scoring machine, Ryan combines hard work, pure speed and agility, and a nose for the goal to help keep our offense firing on all cylinders. Ryan has scored key game winners and game-tying goals and assists against Bancroft, CSW, and more.

Lia Darling ’19 MS Girls’ Soccer

Lia has stepped it up big time for the Middle School Girls’ soccer team. Although she has a quiet leadership style, she has grown into a tremendous leader in the back line. Against Newton Country Day Lia fought relentlessly to keep the ball off of our end, organized her teammates in front of her, and kept her positive attitude throughout the game. Lia also works hard in practice to get better every single day.
