LaCava, Bueno, Schwartz, Caruso, and Siegal earn Athletic Accolades

This week, five athletes were honored with Athletic Accolades. Zack LaCava ’14, Silmar Bueno ’14, Julia Schwartz ’14, Nick Caruso ’19, and Brett Siegal ’20 received the award for their hard work and performance on the fields.

Zack LaCava ’14 and Silmar Bueno ’14– Boys’ Varsity Soccer

Zack and Silmar have been dominant in league play this year. Silmar leads the EIL in goals scored and Zack leads the league is assists. In yesterday’s game vs. Pingree, Zack picked up 2 goals and 2 assists while Silmar scored 4 goals. Both are leading by example each day in practice and in games, and have helped the team to a 6 – 0 – 0 start in the EIL.


Julia Schwartz ’15 – Girls’ Varsity Soccer

Julia has 6 goals and 2 assists on the season. She scored pivotal goals against Portsmouth Abbey and Dana Hall. Additionally, she scored the game winner in a 1-0 thriller against Newton Country Day, helping to keep Beaver in 3rd place in the EIL.

Nick Caruso ’19 and Brett Siegal ’20 – Middle School Boys’ A Soccer

Nick Caruso has been a leader of this fantastic group of players that are hard working and committed to the team. Great spirit and bravery distinguish Nick every time he steps on the field.
Brett Siegal shows impressive hard work in practice and considerable improvement in his quality of play.  His progress and effort have done wonders for the team in our recent matches.
