Don’t miss this unique performance by our US students!

Beaver students will write and perform their own 30 Plays in 60 Minutes, inspired by the Neo-Futurists, a performance troupe in Chicago who base their work on the Italian Futurist movement’s principles of honesty, speed, and brevity. Their signature show, Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind: 30 Plays in 60 Minutes, has run since 1988, and it is composed of 30 plays that are 2 minutes or less. The audience is a part of choosing which plays will be performed and in which order, and they are encourage to participate in the plays.

This past December, students had the opportunity to work with the show’s creator, Greg Allen. Mr. Allen worked with the cast on their 30 plays, offering advice and feedback. Read more about Greg Allen at Beaver.
