Beaver Athletics Kicks off Fall Sports

Beaver coaches and athletes are back in action and are excited for an action packed fall season. The Athletic Department and school community are thrilled to welcome new and returning students for our 2012 fall athletic season.

“Each year begins with high expectations for our student-athletes to reach their potential.“ said Director of Athletics Sherry Levin. “2011-12 was an exceptional year for Beaver athletics filled with 8 championships and multiple All-Scholastic players.  We look to build on the energy and enthusiasm that surrounds our programs.

With several returning runners, the boys are poised for continued success this fall.  First year coach, Adam Scipione, will look to push the team and continue the strong tradition. The girls’ cross country team returns some experienced runners coupled with a new coach. Coach Shannon Foley.  They expect to compete at a high level amongst the strong EIL teams.

Guided by new head coach, Megan McGuin, the field hockey team will look to take a step forward from last year’s campaign.  With the majority of the roster filled with underclassmen, the goal will be to improve with each practice and game.
