Three Student-Athletes Awarded Athletic Accolades

Another week, another round of Athletic Accolades. This time Carly Furr ’12, Daniel Tsui ’14, and Hayley Zukerberg ’16 were honored for the performances on the fields and courts this season.

Carly Furr ’12 – Girls Varsity Lacrosse
As a senior captain, Carly proves herself to be a fierce competitor at every practice and game. Her level of intensity inspires her teammates to work harder while her positive outlook and leadership helps bring the team together as a unit. She has scored 13 goals this season after only 4 games. She currently leads the team with 7 assists, showcasing her ability to make plays and be a team player.

Daniel Tsui ’14 – Ultimate Frisbee
Daniel has helped lead the offense and defense for Beaver Ultimate all season long. In their win this week, he was the deep man in our zone defense and our main disc handler. Daniel had one touchdown throw on offense and 5 knocked down discs, including two in the other team’s end zone that stopped them from scoring.

Hayley Zukerberg ’16 – MS Tennis
Hayley is off to a strong start going 3-0 at the #1 singles position to help her Gray team stay undefeated through April. She is a steady and athletic baseline player who is developing her attacking skills. Hayley is a leader who brings energy and enthusiasm to each practice.
