Three varsity tennis players and a middle school baseball player take home the first Athletic Accolades of the spring season. TJ Moore ’12, Lily Brooks ’12, Sarah Jane Devins ’12, and Henry White ’16 were recognized during the spring sports pep rally for their early contributions on the courts and field.

Athletic Accolades are given to student-athletes who distinguish themselves in competition over and above others.

TJ Moor ’12 – Boys’ Varsity Tennis
TJ defeated one of the highest ranked players in the state on Wednesday in one of his most dominant performances of the year. He continues to be a great leader and competitor for the team.

Lily Brooks ’12 and Sarah Jane Devins ’12 – Girls’ Varsity Tennis
Lily and Sarah Jane have led the way for the girls’ varsity tennis Team by setting the example at practice and helping to bring their team together. In their first league match against last year’s EIL Champs, Bancroft, they both emerged victorious. Sarah Jane played one of the best matches she as played at Beaver, and Lily took over her doubles match in order to come back from one set down and close out the win for Beaver!

Henry White ’16 – MS Baseball
Henry had two hits, knocked in two runs, stole three bases and pitched one scoreless inning, striking out three, to earn the save as Beaver MS baseball opened the season with a four run first inning and held on to win 6 – 4.
