Gosman, Madden, and Zukerberg Earn Athletic Accolades

Posted on October 27, 2011

This week, three more student-athletes were honored with Athletic Accolades. Alex Gosman ’13, Christina Madden ’15, and Hayley Zukerberg ’16 received the award for their hard work and performance on the field and course.

Alex Gosman ’13, Varsity Golf

Junior and co-captain Alex Gosman is a great golfer and has been one of the better golfers in this program since his freshman year. He is the number two golfer on the team this year, and in his two most recent matches, he went 2 – 0. In his last match at Nashawtuc Country Club, he shot a 2 over par, 38. He is an excellent role model for not only his current teammates, but also for the younger golfers on JV who would love to someday compete at the varsity level. His work ethic, skill and demeanor are all part of why at the end of his sophomore year he was unanimously voted to be one of the co-captains, even though he is only a junior.

Christina Madden ’15, JV Field Hockey

Christina has shown leadership as a captain and has vastly improved her stick skills on the field. She has proven to her teammates that hard work, listening, and perseverance pays off during practice, because her game has been elevated to the next level. Christina should be recognized not only by her teammates, but also by her fellow classmates in her determination to make such strides towards achievement.

Hayley Zukerberg ’16, MS Girls’ A Soccer

Hayley has done an excellent job, leading the team in goals scored so far this season and has shown excellent sportsmanship, always keeping the team motivated and helping other players improve their skills as well.
