Performing Arts Caps a Great Year

The upper school musical Chicago and middle school play The Monkey King put the exclamation mark on the 2010-2011 performing arts season.

Chicago dazzled audiences with superb talent not normally seen on a high school stage. From the cast to the crew to the amazing sets and costumes, the production exceeded its already high expectations.

The production of The Monkey King showcased the up-and-coming talent of Beaver’s middle school. This modern twist on the classical Chinese story was performed in Beaver’s Black Box Theater to packed houses.

Spring also saw the Choral and Chamber Concert, the 10-Minute Play Fest, and the jazz cafe in which the senior jazz band performed together for the final time.
