Wrapping up an undefeated season, Beaver’s boy’s cross country team took home the 2010 NEPSTA Division V Championship on Saturday, November 13 in Carlisle, MA. The win comes on the heels of an Eastern Independent League Championship the previous week.

“We are extremely proud of the boys’ cross country team’s success this season,” said Director of Athletics Sherry Levin. “Winning the EIL and capturing the New England title are impressive by themselves, but to win them with an undefeated season is remarkable. The entire Beaver community recognizes the team’s accomplishment.”

In the NEPSTA Championships five of the top ten finishers were Beaver runners. Joe Connelly ’13 finished third (17:38), closely followed by George Wright ’14 in fourth (17:38). Tri-captain Harry Bachrach ’11 crossed the line in seventh (18:34), tri-captain Taylor Pierce ’11 in eighth (18:35), and Tim King ’12 in ninth (18:36).
