Final Winter Athletic Accolade Awarded

The boys’ varsity basketball team has earned the final Athletic Accolade for the winter sports season.

For the second year in a row, the boys won both the EIL regular season title and the EIL tournament. This year, however, they were undefeated in EIL play, finishing the season with a 26-2 overall record.

“It is an amazing feat to capture back-to-back EIL regular season titles and EIL tournament championships. The fact that this season they were undefeated in the league is a credit to their resolve and determination,” said Director of Athletics Sherry Levin. “Coach Figueroa has done a fabulous job of preparing these boys to compete in every game with a target on their back. The entire Beaver community supports and applauds their efforts.”
