Binns ’07 Named America East Goalkeeper of Year

Alice Binns ’07, a junior at Boston University, has been named the America East Goalkeeper of the Year and to the AE All-Conference First Team in women’s soccer. She leads the conference with a save rate of .923, and has allowed in only three goals all season. Alice has not been scored on in her last 527:11 of play, helping BU to achieve the sixth-longest shutout streak (11 games) in NCAA history. The team won its fourth AE regular season title and swept all six major AE conference awards.

The BU Terriers will play in the semi-finals of the AE tournament on Sunday, October 31 at 1:00 p.m. at home (Nickerson Field).
