Students recapped this spring’s afternoon activities, sharing a highlight of the season and something they learned.
💡 Innovation Lab | Blaise Bergmark ’30
Highlights: Being able to use all of the tools in the D-Level. We learned how to use the new resin printer, create silicone molds, and 3D print with features like multiple colors.
✨ Dance | Ruby Parker-Geller ’31
A highlight of the season was learning choreography from Chicago and seeing it in the show. We improved as a group/team by improving our techniques and growing closer as a dance house.
🎨 Visual Arts Workshop | Brooklyn Nieves Farrell ’32
Highlights: Special projects every week and sketchbook prompts every day. How to care for our space and practice good studio culture.
⚾️ Baseball| Jack Ledley ’31
A highlight of our season was becoming closer as a team. We all improved our skills, like fielding skills.
🥍 Boys Lacrosse | Owen Littlefield ’31
A highlight of the season was stopping #24 from Belmont from crease cranking. As a team, we got better at communication and talking to each other, which is especially helpful with defense.
🥍 Girls Lacrosse | Lucy Parsons ’32 and Finley Rice ’32
A highlight of the season was winning our last game. We really gave a lot of effort and improved our catching skills.
👟 BVR Fitness | Wesley Wu ’31
A highlight was doing the circuits. We rotate which exercises we’re doing with small breaks in between. We all improved over the season by getting stronger.
🎾 Tennis A and B | Elliot Fayne ‘30 and Caroline Mitchell ’30
A highlight from Tennis A was playing a match at BBN because it was nice to see the facility and play more advanced players. As a team, we all worked extremely hard and got a lot better over the season.
This spring, sometimes we’d lose matches, but we never gave up. In practices, we learned a lot and got better with the help from our coaches.

A note shared by L’mar Hubbert ’30
“As we get ready for 8th Grade Promotion on Friday and the end of our Middle School years, it’s hard not to look back and feel how quickly it all went by. Needless to say, what once felt like such a long journey has suddenly brought us here, to a moment that marks both an ending but also an exciting new beginning.
“The Parent Association wanted to celebrate the Class of 2030 with a special gift. We hope this gift reminds us of all the memories, friendships, and experiences that made Middle School such a special part of our time at Beaver. To commemorate the class of 2030, 8th graders will leave the meeting first and receive our gifts as we exit Bradley Hall. Afterward, we’ll gather out on the front steps of the school for one final class photo as 8th graders.”
