Ellery Harper ’31 and Alex Squire ’31 presented Values Mistakes and Takes Responsibility for Actions.
“This means when you make mistakes, you don’t beat yourself up for it, you learn from it and try again. When you make a mistake, you tell an adult about it, you own your mess, and you clean it up. This can be hard because people can call you out, and it can be hard to admit. It can be hard to learn from it because it feels like something bad you did.”
Sometimes when you make a mistake (a fall or a bad grade on a test), you want to beat yourself up, but it’s important to encourage yourself, go up to the teacher to ask for help, and don’t be mean to yourself or others.

- Athletic bags and coats: on the shelves outside the locker room, or students can ask to use space in their advisor’s room.
- Bags in the hallway during lunch: against a wall, never next to a door, and never on or next to the HVAC vents.
We reminded students to let me know if they want to run a MS meeting and to pick up trash on their way out of Gym A.
