Hello, Middle School Students and Families! Below is this week’s MS Meeting recap.

Alexandra Natan ’29, Fiona Freedman ’29, and Analise Gottschalk ’29 ran today’s meeting. You can check out the slides from this week’s meeting here.

THE BVR STUDENT

Naima Russell ’28 presented Listens with Thoughtful Attention.

It’s important to listen so that you don’t miss any details and you know what to do when it comes time to do classwork and homework. When you listen to your classmates, they could be giving you information or sharing something you have a question about. And your perspective can change on different topics when you listen to people’s opinions that are different from your own.

The Spring Music Exhibit is this Thursday! All Middle School students stay after school for dinner and recess at 4:00 p.m. Then students go to Bradley Hall at 4:45 p.m. to rehearse. The exhibit starts at 6:00 p.m. and lasts less than an hour. There will be sweet treats at the end of the exhibit. As a reminder, the exhibit is a great time to bring in at-home instruments.

Friday is Middle School FUN DAY!

Along with the field trip to Level99 in the afternoon, teachers have planned a morning of fun activities. Students only need to bring a water bottle on Friday (no laptop, etc).

Important information from the nurse
Students should make sure to bring their EpiPen, inhalers, and diabetic supplies with them on the field trip if they require any of these medications. These medications must be with the student at all times. Medications are not supplied by the health office for field trips.

Any non-emergency medications (anything other than the medications listed above) need to be checked by the school nurse in advance of the field trip. A field trip medication form must accompany the medication and be brought to the school nurse. Please contact the school nurse at tossowski@bcdschool.org or 617-738-2739 if you have any questions.
