THE WEEKLY FEATURES

THE BVR STUDENT

Carolina Savoulides ’28 and Reva Karol ’28 presented Connects with friends, family, and others.

It’s important to hang out with your friends and family. I’m happy when I hang out with my friends. If you don’t keep in touch, you’ll lose your connection. Relationships mean a lot.

FEED YOUR BRAIN PICK
Song of the Lioness Series by Tamora Pierce

Recommended by Emerson Daly ’29

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT THIS BOOK …
The main character, Alanna, is a strong girl who doesn’t let her gender determine what she can or can’t do. The story has lots of adventure and she becomes a knight.

WHY I THINK YOU WOULD LIKE IT …
I recommend these books to anyone who wants to read about a strong female character who’s awesome and who enjoys books with fantasy and adventure.
