The head of the English department at Beaver, Lisa Brown, is taking the virtual stage to present at this year’s GLOW Conference on Friday, November 18. The GLOW Conference is designed to connect a global community of educators and outline ways to make learning more responsive, more globally centered, and more impactful for a generation of learners. The digital conference runs from November 18 to November 19.

Lisa Brown will present “Unlearning for Deeper Learning: Fostering Equity In and Out of the Classroom.” The presentation will focus on the work Beaver faculty and students are doing to promote equity and deeper learning as well as share more about our approach to education.
