Julia Hutchinson ’21, Christine Alcindor ’21, and Choral Director Kirk Averitt attended the 2019 American Choral Directors Association National Conference in Kansas City, Mo. February 27 through March 2.

Julia and Christine were selected from a large pool of applicants to participate in the National Honor Choir. The singers spent the week rehearsing under the direction of conductor and teacher Dr. Sandra Snow from Michigan State University in preparation for their performance at the Kauffman Center for the Arts. The choir performed for a packed house and had the entire audience on their feet by the end of the show.
