Christian deWeck ’19 and George Patterson ’19 presented at the Middle School meeting about their experience at the Digital Media Academy this summer.

At this two week camp at Harvard, Christian and George improved their coding skills, met new people, and learned what it’s like to be a game designer.

In their presentation, they explained one of the projects they worked on at the Academy: changing the visual appearance of different enemies in the game Minecraft. They also discussed how much they enjoyed the camp, and how they learned how to use a variety of programs like Java, Photoshop, and Eclipse.
