Girls’ Varsity Basketball –

The Girls’ Varsity Basketball team fell short in it’s run at a back-to-back NEPSAC Championship with a 44-46 point loss at KUA. On Wednesday, the EIL Champion team took to it’s home court as the #4 seed to face the #5 seed Miss Hall’s. The gym was filled with excitement and the team rose to the occasion with a 51-31 win. The victory had them face #1 seeded KUA. Despite the 2 1/2 bus ride to the mountains of New Hampshire and playing on a small court, the team came out strong with a 9 point lead at the half.  KUA would catch up and go ahead by 6 with 3:10 to go. But Beaver would not quit. The game was tied with under :15 to go until KUA hit two free throws. Beaver would have a chance to tie or win, but their attempt fell short. The final record of 17-4 is a result of their hard work, teamwork, and skill.  Congratulations to the entire team.

Boys’ Varsity Basketball –

The Beaver Boys Basketball Team entered the week with hopes of winning another NEPSAC Title. They got off to a great start by beating Middlesex School in the quarterfinal game. In the semi-final game, the team lost a nail biter to the Brooks School in overtime. The team finished the season 22-2. The Beaver Community is very proud of the great season the team had.
