Exploring the weather through sculptural data translations: Nathalie Miebach

Posted on September 30, 2013

We’re excited to welcome back artist Nathalie Miebach to Beaver!

Nathalie’s art combines science, music, sculpture, data collection, and maybe even a little “analog coding”. She visited Beaver last spring as a guest speaker at a Tuesday Forum.

Natalie will work with students in two sections of the Materials and Methods course in the Nancy Lincoln Gallery. From September 30 through October 4, The student will collect data from around campus and the process of this work will be displayed in the gallery. Then, from October 7 through October 18, visitors will be able to view the final product from the process.

See picture from the process on Facebook.
