Girls Basketball

The Girls Varsity Basketball team had a successful week with two victories vs. strong competitors. On Wednesday, January 23rd we hosted the class B school Dana Hall and came away with a solid win. On Friday we traveled to Rhode Island to face off against the Lincoln School. A fellow class C school, they beat us last year in a hard fought game. This year, Beaver’s intense defense and team offense over powered Lincoln and the girls won 52-29. This is a three game week for the varsity as they travel to NCD on Monday, host Pingree on Wednesday and travel to Portsmouth Abbey on Friday.

Boys Basketball

The Beaver Boys’ Basketball Team went 1-1 last week. They remained undefeated in league play with a convincing victory over Portsmouth Abbey. Freshman, Keyshaun Jacobs led the team with 20 points. He was 5-7 from the three point line. On Saturday, the team lost a heart breaker to Nobles and Greenough, 58-57. The team will need to bounce back this week, as they face league rival Pingree on Wednesday and Class B power Rivers on Saturday.

Squash

The Beaver squash team had a productive week working on match play. The players had several important ladder matches, and there was improvement across the board. On Thursday the team played the Middlesex School and had a strong win.

Wrestling

The wrestling team had a tough loss to Middlesex Last week in the only match of the week. This week, the boys will look to regroup when they take on Lexington Christian and Portsmouth Abbey on Wednesday. The team will then prepare for the New England Invitational being held on Saturday at Tilton.
